Travel Tuesday ~ Mexican Riviera Cruise 2011

I was looking through all of my travel pictures and thought that it would be fun to share with all of you some of the pictures from my trips.  Each week I will be posting some new pictures for Travel Tuesday!

It would be great if you could follow along with me and see where I have been and link up your Travel Tuesday or travel posts so that I can stop by and visit you and see where you have been!

This past spring, my best friend and I went on a Mexican Riviera cruise aboard the Norwegian Star.  We left April 2, 2011 out of the Port of Los Angeles and returned April 9, 2011.

We spent a couple days in Cabo San Lucas and one day in Puerto Vallarta.

 Puerto Vallarta

Las Caletas Beach Hideaway

Outback Camel Safari, Los Cabos

Yes, we rode a camel on the beach!

As you can imagine, I have a lot more pictures to share!  I will save some pictures for a future Travel Tuesday and share more about each of the Ports of Call!

Do you have a Travel Tuesday that you would like to share?  Link it up with us!

  1. Looks refreshing. I think in a few months (I’m in the north country) I’ll be dreaming of a place warm, sunny and ocean breezy. I will not, however, be dreaming about camels.

  2. I always think of the Mexican Riviera as the Eastern side of Mexico. No point to that really. I just thought it was amusing.

To the actual point… My husband and I were talking the other day and I just don’t feel safe going to Mexico anymore. We’ve been twice several years ago, but with all the violence now I’m just not sure about it. Hopefully they will be able to get control of it soon.

    • @Jennifer ~ I was worried a little about the violence also but where we were, I felt really safe. Mazatlan was on our itinerary but due to the violence, we stayed at Cabo for two days instead. Last night, I went to the Norwegian website while writing this post and noticed that they do not offer a Mexican Riviera cruise anymore. I hope they can get it under control too. It really is a beautiful place to visit.

@MomZombie ~ I wasn’t really dreaming about camels either. It was completely unexpected and figured it would be a once in a lifetime event.

  3. I just got back from Cabo a few months I have been many times and always end up having a ton of fun. I love Mexico I can see retiring there. New follower form the hop hope you can come by and check out my site.
