Work At Home Thoughts and Ideas

I have recently offered to give advice to women about working at home. I thought that since there may be many others that might be interested in this, that I would create a post for this blog and hopefully if you have any additional questions, you can leave a comment or email me privately at teresalolvera@sbcglobal.net.

First of all, I want to encourage you to not forget about the many different Direct Sales Opportunities. This is a wonderful way for you to make money, earn incentives, prizes and travel vacations by just doing what we all love to do ~ spending time with friends and meeting their friends, making some money, and meeting their friends, did I mention make some money? You can plan some fun parties, while making some money, and build new lasting friendships!

It is a great way to introduce yourself to a new community or bring the community together.

I am a consultant for the following companies, please take a peek and if you are interested in learning about any of these opportunities, please let me know.

Pink Papaya Spa Parties
Southern Living At HOME
Gold Canyon Candles
Longaberger
Thirty One Gifts
Send Out Cards

In the summer of 2008, I also founded Society of Socialpreneurs ~ Where Socializing is Our Business. This is a networking organization for work at home moms, entrepreneurs, and small business owners can network and support one another by sharing ideas, business tips, support for raising a family, etc. I have met some wonderful new people this past year that I never would have met if I did not become an Independent Consultant. You can visit our social networking site with over 200 members by clicking here.

Now, how do you find what business you want to be consultant for? Well, what are your interest? Do you like to decorate your home? Do you enjoy candles? Do you enjoy scrapbooking? Do you like to cook? Do you like to entertain? I think anyone can be successful if they truly enjoy the products that they are representing!

Another great perk for working in Direct Sales is that you are able to keep your own calendar. Each month you can go through and mark off any school volunteering hours, family nights, doctor’s appointments, holidays, kid’s parties, and you let the potential hostesses know when you are available. I have learned that working part time as a paralegal from 9 – 2 and working in direct sales that the flexibility is invaluable to me.

I would love to assist you if you have any questions about any of the companies that I represent. You can contact me at teresalolvera@sbcglobal.net. Please also feel free to join my yahoo group, Consultants Shopping N More and you can visit with other consultants that would be more than happy to discuss their opportunities with you as well!

Good luck to you in any future enedeavor that you may choose!
